Synopsis: Manuel (John Lloyd) and Marian (Bea) have been best friends since they were kids. They are so close that they know each other's secrets...well, almost. For the last last 16 years, Manuel never had the courage to tell Marian how much he loves her.

Synopsis:

Now, for a movie review. My Bestfriend’s Girlfriend is a must-see movie (well, if you can still catch it up on cinemas). It is a story of a spoiled rich man (Evo, Richard Gutierrez) who fell in love with his bestfriend ’s (Mark, JC de Venecia) girlfriend (Grace, Marian Rivera) who happens to be a member of society’s lower class. As much as I like to share about the movie, I prefer not to for the sake of others who are still to watch it.
Richard Gutierrez and Marian Rivera had a good chemistry in the movie. Some scenes made me laugh hilariously, promise. It is not like your typical love story that makes you cry.
Marian Rivera danced her signature Marimar dance several instances in the movie. Richard Gutierrez and Marian Rivera had crying scenes which made me laugh rather than sympathize. The movie ended up with everyone happy with their lives.

Adapted from Orlando Nadres award-wining one-act play about homosexuality, Hanggang Dito Na Lamang At Maraming Salamat is the story of a closet gay and repressed pawnshop owner, "Uncle" Fidel, who has been supporting and sending Efren to school. Although they are not even blood-related, Fidel treats him more than a real son... because he is secretly in love with him.Nobody in town knows about Fidel's secret except for his best friend, the flamboyant Julie, the town's beautician, who is more open with his sexuality. He advises Fidel to come to terms with his true nature. Julie believes that Fidel should be able to get something in return from Efren by way of affection for all the things he has done for him and the money he spends for his schooling.
However, things turn for the worse when Efren drops a bomb: He has decided to marry his school sweetheart. The announcement devastates Fidel and strains his frienship with Julie.
After the dust has settled, there is clearly no winner, only two souls left empty and hurting.
